On September 12, the award ceremony for the 2026 CICC (Chinese Institute of Command and Control) Science and Technology Prize was held at the Nanjing International Expo Center. Following evaluation by the 11th Command and Control Science and Technology Prize Evaluation Committee, Honeycomb Aerospace Technologies (Beijing) Co., Ltd. secured the Second Prize (Technical Invention Category) of the 2026 CICC Science and Technology Progress Award for its project "Intelligent Decision‑Making Technology for UAV Swarms under Incomplete Information". Li Wei, Chairman of Honeycomb, was the lead developer on the project.

The project "Intelligent Decision‑Making Technology for UAV Swarms under Incomplete Information" targets intelligent‑decision challenges for UAV swarms under incomplete‑information conditions. It conducts research on technologies pertaining to UAV swarm intelligent decision‑making, with a focus on decision‑making and collaboration of UAV swarms in such environments, and delivers technical support for relevant UAV‑swarm intelligent decision‑making applications.

The Chinese Institute of Command and Control (CICC) is a national-level academic society in the field of command and control science and technology, officially registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs of China. The Institute established the CICC Science and Technology Award, among which the CICC Science and Technology Progress Award is reviewed annually. It recognizes projects that have made creative contributions to technology development, technological innovation, and the promotion and application of advanced scientific and technological achievements within the command and control domain.
