From August 17 to 20, the 10th Shenyang Faku International Flight Conference was held in Shenyang Faku General Aviation Industry Base, with the theme of "Dream Sails and Faku Flies". Li Wei, chairman of Honeycomb Aerospace, was invited to attend the 2023 Northeast Asia Unmanned System Industry Application Development Forum. He delivered a keynote speech titled Integration of UAV Air-Ground-Space Systems and also participated in the in-depth dialogue with the theme of "Standardized Assurance, Innovation-Driven Future: Low-Altitude Economy Propels Leapfrog Development of the UAV Industry".
Summit Forum
With the construction concept of "integration of UAV air-ground-space systems", Honeycomb Aerospace builds an integrated service platform for intelligent spaceborne remote-sensing monitoring by UAVs. The platform is developed by relying on advanced technologies and equipment such as big data, artificial intelligence, drones, and IoT sensing terminals.
Through the Honeycomb Aerospace UAV airport, intelligent UAVs, and Fengxing intelligent management platform, the UAVs are capable of realizing functions like automatic charging, autonomous flight, data collection, and real-time data transmission. When a UAV detects abnormal sensitive points during an inspection mission, it will automatically perform multi-angle fixed-point shooting. Subsequently, it will upload the inspection images and videos to the cloud. There, AI-powered image analysis and recognition, as well as data analysis and storage, will be carried out, truly achieving comprehensive perception in terms of the integration of the air, ground, and space.
High-level Dialogue
Topics of this high-level dialogue:
1. What are the supporting factors for the rapid development of the current domestic unmanned system industry?
2. Recently, the State Council and other ministries and commissions issued the "Interim Regulations on the Flight Management of Unmanned Aircraft" (referred to as the "Regulations"). What impacts will it have on the UAV industry and enterprises?
3. At present, the low-altitude economy is booming. Please talk about the growth potential and challenges of the domestic low-altitude economy.
Li Wei, chairman of Honeycomb Aerospace, said that the unmanned system industry takes artificial intelligence, big data, the Internet of Things, and the mobile Internet as its link to realize the comprehensive connection between people and things, and between things. The driving force behind it is the transformation of digital technology. The unmanned industry application model serves as a complement to the fading demographic dividend. It can maintain stable development to a certain extent and improve service capabilities by leveraging high technology. Driven by technological innovation, the new economic model continues to develop, and policies will propel the unmanned economy to a larger-scale upsurge.
The Regulations, the first special administrative regulation on the management of unmanned aircraft in China, not only regulates unmanned aircraft flight and related activities, promotes the healthy and orderly development of the unmanned aircraft industry, and provides strong support for fully releasing the market demand for unmanned aircraft. It will also have a positive impact on promoting the high-quality development of China's UAV industry and grasping new opportunities for low-altitude economic development.
Relying on digital technologies such as artificial intelligence, communication, and sensors, the economic growth of low-altitude airspace will accelerate and become a new economic growth pole. At present, the UAV industry is facing many challenges, including how to effectively surveil various UAVs using appropriate technical means, how to detect and counter UAVs that illegally intrude in key areas, and how to prevent collisions between various UAVs and manned aircraft in non-isolated airspaces.
At this conference, Honeycomb Aerospace and industry leaders jointly discussed the future development of the drone industry. As a manufacturer with considerable achievements in the field of industrial drones, Honeycomb Aerospace demonstrated its exploration experience and application results in fields such as emergency rescue. In the future, Honeycomb Aerospace will continue to consolidate its technological capabilities, immerse itself in specific application scenarios, meet the diversified needs of the industry, let the low-altitude economy connect the economy and society, production and living ecology, etc., and contribute to building a new development pattern and promoting high-quality development.
