Honeycomb Aerospace UAV Performed Intelligent Inspection of Oil and Gas Pipelines in Northwest China

Honeycomb Aerospace SU-50 intelligent unmanned airport was deployed in a region in Northwest China and successfully implemented the task of intelligent patrol of 100-km-long oil and gas pipeline. The managers of the inspection workstation accurately identified problems such as pipeline exposure, leakage accidents and the surrounding environment through the Honeycomb Aerospace UAV, significantly enhancing the efficiency and effect of oil and gas pipeline inspection.


In this project, because the total length of the oil and gas pipeline network is 100 kilometers, the geographical environment is complicated, the terrain is undulating, and it is crisscrossed with gullies, the traditional manual inspection method has a series of problems. In order to solve these problems, Honeycomb Aerospace has provided a complete set of "air, ground and space integrated intelligent inspection" solutions for the region.

By using the functions of SU-50 intelligent unmanned airport such as autonomous inspection, automatic charging, remote planning and command, and real-time data-returning, all-round and all-weather monitoring of oil and gas pipelines and the surrounding environment in specific areas can be carried out.
