Honeycomb Aerospace's Binzhou Production Base Went into Operation, Consolidating Advantages of Low-altitude Economy Development

On May 27, the inauguration ceremony of Honeycomb Aerospace’s Binzhou Production Base and the rollout of its first HC-526 drone took place at Binzhou Aerospace Industrial Park. With the unveiling ceremony, this professional production and testing base for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and their supporting equipment made its debut. As a core enterprise in the low-altitude economy industrial chain, the construction of Honeycomb Aerospace’s Binzhou production base has received strong support from the Binzhou Municipal Party Committee, Binzhou Municipal Government, and Shandong Weiqiao Pioneering Group. Honeycomb Aerospace will capitalize on the development potential of Binzhou's low-altitude economy, further give full play to its innovation strengths, pool development resources, establish a low-altitude economic alliance, accumulate energy, and achieve remarkable growth.


Leaders Visited Honeycomb Aerospace Binzhou Production Base


Liu Zhongyuan, deputy secretary of Binzhou Municipal Party Committee, Zhang Jinglei, director and deputy general manager of Shandong Weiqiao Pioneering Group, and other leaders visited the drone production workshop and exhibition hall accompanied by Li Wei, chairman of Honeycomb Aerospace. The person in charge of Honeycomb Aerospace's Binzhou production base introduced the production process and technical characteristics of the UAV in detail, an displayed a number of newly developed UAV products on site. During the visit, the leaders affirmed Honeycomb Aerospace's advanced technology and production capacity.

It is committed to researching key technologies for UAV intelligence, achieving controllable and autonomous production capabilities for industrial UAVs, and emerging as an industry - leading industrialization base. After being put into operation, the Binzhou production base will assist Honeycomb Aerospace in continuously making breakthroughs in the key core technologies of unmanned aerial vehicles. The company will then pursue high - standard, high - efficiency, lightweight, and intelligent UAV systems.


Focused on the digital economy and the low-altitude economy, the company has developed a “5G network connection + drone + machine nest” air-ground integrated unattended monitoring system. It places emphasis on the development of core equipment and a pilot program for applying low-altitude economic scenarios. The company is building a key demonstration zone for the low-altitude drone economy in Binzhou. Binzhou Honeycomb Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Shandong Inspur Database Technology Co., Ltd.


Binzhou Honeycomb Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with China Science Satellite Technology Group.


Binzhou Honeycomb Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. signed an order with Henan Yunhuan Netlink UAV Technology Co., Ltd.


These signings mark that Honeycomb Aerospace will carry out in-depth cooperation with various parties in intelligent manufacturing, technological innovation and market expansion to jointly promote the development of the UAV industry.

Amid warm applause, Honeycomb Aerospace Binzhou Intelligence Center was officially unveiled. Honeycomb Aerospace will take this as a starting point to continuously enhance production capacity, optimize product quality, and satisfy market demands.

 


Flying Demonstration: Drone Technology Unveiled

At the end of the ceremony, leaders witnessed the flight demonstration of the intelligent drone station of Honeycomb Aerospace. The breathtaking flight of the intelligent UAV not only demonstrated its outstanding flight performance and stability, but also highlighted Honeycomb Aerospace’s technical strength and innovation capabilities in the realm of UAV design and flight control.


As one of the crucial vectors of new-quality productivity, the low-altitude economy boasts multiple advantages. It features a long industrial chain, wide radiation range, strong growth potential, vast market space, and diverse application scenarios, with a market size exceeding one trillion yuan. The Binzhou production base of Honeycomb Aerospace has successfully commenced production, and the first HC-526 has rolled off the production line. This achievement strengthens the position of the low-altitude economy, a strategic emerging industry, in terms of R&D, manufacturing capabilities, and product applications. More importantly, it has spurred the clustering of upstream and downstream sectors of the UAV industry. It has also accelerated the rapid development of industries centered around drones, including hardware, software, services, data processing, and parts supply. This initiative will effectively facilitate the development of the low-altitude economic ecosystem and contribute to the coordinated development of the low-altitude economy.
